On May 28th, Cooperstown will play host the National Baseball Hall of Fame's 5th Annual BASE Race.  And this Memorial Day Weekend, runners from all over the country will head down the road to the home of baseball for the fifth annual BASE Race charity runs.  The Museum, along with Cooperstown’s Clark Sports Center, will present a 10k competitive run starting at 9 a.m. and a 5k fun run at 9:15 a.m., both starting and ending at Cooperstown's Doubleday Field.  Funds raised benefit the National Baseball Hall of Fame's “Be A Superior Example” program promoting healthy lifestyle choices for individuals of all ages,educating students about the dangers of performance-enhancing substances.

Pre-registration fees are $25 for individuals and $55 for families, while on race day registration is $30 for individuals and $65 for families. Each registered runner will receive a race medal (for the first 300 runners to register), goodie bag, a custom Hall of Fame runner’s bib and a free general admission ticket to the Hall of Fame Classic game on that same day at 1 p.m..
