Authorities in Cooperstown cited a Main Street business for failing to comply with the state’s mask wearing requirements. According to AllOTSEGO, Mayor Ellen Tillapaugh didn’t reveal which business was cited but did say police officers are walking Main Street to be sure establishments are complying with the order.

People who have a medical reason for not being able to wear a mask must apply for a medical exemption from Cooperstown Village Police with proof from a NY State licensed doctor.

at 5:00 p.m. on a local law requiring face coverings on Main and Pioneer Streets.
