Here are projects in the works right now:

  • City crews are out through this Friday (6/4) sealing up cracks in streets as the weather permits. Crack sealing is an important part of road maintenance work to extend the life of city streets. During this project you may see temporary "No Parking" signs along certain streets. Please observe or you may be ticketed and towed at your expense. • Tree service work will take place throughout the summer with city hired contractor Great Lakes Tree Service Inc. to remove, trim hazardous trees.
  • Flushing water mains in the low service areas is taking place through this Friday and will impact: Oneida St., Keith St., Miles Ave., Mohican Drive, Garden St., Wisteria Ave., Country Club Rd, Country Club Dr., Mohican Circle, Gunnison Park Blvd., Browne St., Handsome Ave., Neahwa Pl., James Georgeson Ave., Carbon St., Main St., River St., Grace Pl., and Meckley Ave. During this process, residents and businesses in those areas may experience a change in water color, pressure and/or loss of water but it's only temporary.
  • Now through June 9, the Neahwa Park Recreation building is closed due to a roof repair job. Along with that, the parking lot is closed and outside seating near the building is not available for use.
