Charlotte Valley Teacher Charged with Rape

A Davenport Center woman was charged Thursday with third-degree rape involving a ,victim younger than 17, third-degree criminal sexual act and endangering the welfare of a child.

Troopers say Rachelle Keator, 25, a teacher at Charlotte Valley Central School in Davenport was arraigned in Maryland town court and released on bail.

Troopers say these charges are in connection with an incident in the town of Maryland involving a 16-year-old male.
