It's always been one of Oneonta's favorite fundraisers: The annual Chili Bowl, sponsored by The Community Arts Network of Oneonta (CANO) and sadly, it will not be held this year due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19.

Last year, like so many years, the 16th annual Chili Bowl was standing room only at The Wilber Mansion on Ford Ave., home to CANO. This annual Oneonta tradition, always held from noon to 4:00 p.m. on Superbowl Sunday, always means a wide variety of great chili to indulge in, an opportunity to meet great people and see friends, and pair that with great beer, and naturally, you have a winning event!

It will be greatly missed and hopefully, will return in 2022! I have enjoyed this event with friends on several occasions and I can't imagine Oneonta without it in the future.

Since this event is most likely CANO's biggest fundraiser of the year, consider donating to the organization and keeping the arts alive and well in Oneonta.
