Bus Runs from Oneonta to Cooperstown Affected By Bridge Accident

Due to a traffic incident that damaged a bridge on County Highway 11C, Oneonta Public Transit is changing the bus route that runs from Oneonta to Cooperstown to accommodate stops at the Meadows Office Complex.

The 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Northbound runs will detour off Route 28 in Milford and take County Route 33 to the Meadows before proceeding on Route 33 into Cooperstown.

The 6 a.m., 7 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Northbound runs will follow the regular route and remain on Route 28.

The hourly Southbound Rote 28 schedule from Cooperstown to Oneonta is unaffected.

This change will remain until the bridge is open again. The Oneonta Police Department says the bridge is closed indefinitely.
