I went to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band last night at Vernon Downs. You couldn't have asked for a more beautiful evening.  Picture this...incredible blue skies with not a cloud in sight, hot air balloons slowly drifting in the distance, and a warm, friendly crowd of thousands in a field, singing along to the Boss.  It was magic in every sense of the word.

No matter how old Bruce seems to get, it doesn't seem to matter in terms of his performance and energy level.  He out performs many contemporary artists half his age and he did it again last night, playing great news songs like "Wrecking Ball" and "We Take Care of Our Own", not to mention some of his classic favorites like "Born to Run", "Thunder Road", and "Prove it All Night"  which is one of my personal favorites.  Bruce did something for everyone.  What a show!

Needless to say, if you ever get a chance to see Bruce and the E Street Band, GO!  It's an experience you'll never forget.

Here's a taste of the Bruce concert experience below, a video of "Wrecking Ball" at Giants Stadium.
