Brawl Leads To Arrests At Oneonta, New York Trailer Park
A fight at the Lantern Hill Trailer park in Oneonta led to three people being arrested over the weekend. All three have been charged with misdemeanor assault in the third degree. Lantern Hill Trailer Park is just east of the Southside Oneonta Walmart on Route 23.
Fight Breaks Out
New York State Troopers arrived to the mobile home park on Saturday, October 28, 2023 and immediately began an investigation. As a result, it was found that La-Tee J. Baker, age 25 of Oneonta, NY, Bryanna N. Patterson, age 21 of Oneonta, NY and Bethany R. Brown, age 23 of Delhi, NY were involved in a fight.
State Troopers found that Brown and Patterson had engaged in a scuffle that had ended with both women injured. According to troopers, Brown hit Patterson resulting in injuries. In turn, Patterson grabbed and hit Brown, and Baker threw Brown to the ground, which caused Brown to sustain injuries. Brown was subsequently taken to A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta by private car to have her injuries assessed by medical professionals.
Arrests Made
Baker and Patterson left the scene after the altercation. Troopers found them shortly after on State Highway 23. Both were arrested at that time without incident, and issued tickets to appear at Oneonta Town Court on November 21, 2023.
Once released from A.O. Fox Hospital, Brown was charged with with misdemeanor assault in the third degree. Her date to appear at Oneonta Town Court is scheduled for December 5, 2023.
Troopers have not indicated what might have led to the fight breaking out. While there is the usual speculation online, troopers have not released an official cause.
