Birds of Chicago is coming to  West Kortright Centre this Saturday, June 28th. Birds of Chicago is a four- piece, multi-instrumental collective headed by the two amazing North American roots musicians and singers JT Nero and Allison Russell. The music they perform is described as mountain gospel, street corner doo-wop, and classic soul. They went on a ten-day spring tour with the Carolina Chocolate Drops, and after toured the U.K. and Ireland before making their way to the WKC. The Chicago Tribune stated, "They project organic gospel, hillbilly, folk, and soul elements that bridge traditional and modern approaches."

The West Kortright Centre is located midway between Oneonta, Delhi, and Stamford at 49 W Kortright Church Rd, East Meredith, NY. The show starts at 8pm, this Saturday, June 28th. Tickets for the show are $23 ($27 the day of), $20 WKC Member ($24), and $11 under 19. This is sure to be a great night of soulful music that you don't want to miss!
