Big Names in Education Featured in Oneonta Public Forum Tomorrow [Audio]

Oneonta Area for Public Education is taking New York State education testing and the new Common Core very seriously and want community members to know more about what's going on in our schools, so they are bringing in some high profile New York State education administrators for a forum on the State of Education in NY: Carol Burris, Frank Sutliff, and Tim Farley. The forum will be held at Oneonta Highschool in the auditorium, Saturday, January 18th, beginning at 2pm. This event is free and open to the public.

I sat down to talk with Oneonta Educator Ken Cider and his daughter Alyia to talk about this event. Ken provided background on the three featured speakers for the event and Alyia talks about what she and her peers are experiencing in school presently.
