Better Business Bureau Supports ‘Small Business Saturday’

Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses on the busiest shopping weekend of the year -- just after Thanksgiving. The Better Business Bureau is advising consumers to support small businesses in their community as the holiday retail season begins.

The Better Business Bureau is teaming up with American Express Open to spread the word about why supporting small businesses is so critical. This is the third year in a row American Express Open has declared Nov. 24, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, to be Small Business Saturday.

Sandwiched between “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday,” small business Saturday is an important way to support the small businesses that work in your community and drive the local economy.
