State Deems April ‘Dig Safely Month’
The State Public Service Commission is participating in a nationwide effort to recognize April as “Dig Safely Month” in New York State.
The program is a way to remind excavators and contractors that state law requires them to call one of the state’s toll-free one-call centers before starting any excavation or digging project.

The RecruitNY campaign will take place statewide on April 27-28.
