April 30 Update on COVID-19 Cases in Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego Counties
We continue to keep you updated on confirmed cases in our tri-county region of Central New York. As of yesterday afternoon, according to The New York State COVID-19 Tracker, the total number of cases rose to 96 in Chenango County. Delaware County Public Health is also reporting 70 confirmed coronavirus cases and now in Otsego County there are 66 total COVID-19 cases, with 62 of them Otsego County residents.
According to the NYS Department of Health, there are currently 299,691 cases of confirmed COVID-19 in the state with 4585 new cases confirmed statewide yesterday.
Please note that the number of confirmed cases does not reflect the actual number of cases because of limited testing for the virus.
