In a Town of Oneonta Board related announcement, resident Jon Anderson announced he is campaigning for a position on the Board. Anderson says he decided to run because he is passionate about the Town and wants to make sure it continues to grow in all areas; especially business, residential, and recreation.

He was involved in getting the highway development zoning buffers changed as it pertains to Southside Oneonta. Anderson attended Unatego High School and then Broome Community College. He has worked in the auto industry for the past 30 years and is married with two children.
