An Easy Way To Extend The Life Of Your Halloween Jack-o-lanterns

You know how you put all that effort and creativity into carving your Halloween pumpkins, only to have them mold a few days later and make big smelly mess?  Well here's a great tip on keeping them fresher longer with something very simple. 

All you need is a silica packet for your jack-o-lantern.  They come in all types of packaging to keep moisture away from products.  Now you can put them to work on those pumpkins on your porch. I saw this great idea on Repurposed Recycled Reused Reclaimed Restored's Facebook page and wanted to share it since I know our Halloween pumpkins always rot way too quickly each year.  Now you just have to scrounge around for a few of those silica packets.  Good luck!
