6 Month Moratorium Considered on Proposed Franchises in Cooperstown
The Cooperstown Village Board needs more time to make a decision when it comes to a proposed franchise combo for the village. According to AllOTSEGO, the board is considering a six-month moratorium on the lot at Walnut and Chestnut streets where a Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin Robbins co-branded outlet is planned.
The moratorium would give the the trustees time to consider a “unique” zoning designation in the village. A hearing will be held on November 25 at 7:00 p.m. at 22 Main St.
