Twenty-three communities have been sharing their handmade quilts over the past few weeks at the Cooperstown Art Association in "the Cooperstown Quilt Show 2016" presented by the Fenimore Quilt Club and the Cooperstown Art Association.  This show helped raise over $1000 for local food pantries with well over 1000 attendees over the course of the show's run.

Out of approximately 100 quilted show entries, the Viewer's Choice winner was"3D Baltimore" crafted by Minnie Beams of Schenevus (pictured above).  This quilt was hand pieced, appliqued and hand quilted.  Minnie is 90 years old and has over 40 years of quilting experience to her credit.  To find out more about the Cooperstown Art Association and their next exhibit, visit CooperstownArt.com.
