1st Annual July 4th 5K Run/Walk Promises Family Fun [Audio]

Get ready to celebrate Independence Day in a way that's bigger and better than ever before with the Hometown 4th of July Celebration in Neahwa Park, Oneonta.  I'ts all brought to you by Townsquare Media and First Night Oneonta. A great new addition to the celebration this year is the 1st Annual July 4th 5K Run/Walk presented by "Body By Stacy" and the Hometown 4th with First Night Oneonta.  Race registration begins at 8:30am at Damaschke Field, Neahwa Park entrance with the race and walk beginning at 10am.  The entry fee is $12 for advance registration and $15 same day.  Proceeds benefit Family Service Association in Oneonta.  T-shirts are guaranteed if you register by June 22nd.  Registration forms are available at area businesses and schools in Oneonta and also on-line at www.bodybystacyny.com. If you'd rather be a spectator, then bring your squirt guns to cool off the runners at the end.  There will be buckets of water for reloading squirt guns placed throughout the Neahwa Park's loop and there will be extra squirt guns for those that need them.  For more information call Stacy at (607) 437-0211.
