Students at Delaware Academy are using a controversial TV series to help students cope with thoughts of suicide. Four students at the school created a program called “13 Reasons Why Not”, a play on the Netflix series called “13 Reasons Why.” which follows the trail of a 17 year old as she commits suicide. The goal according to the students is to get people talking about suicide or mental heath, not hide it. The project started last Monday and runs for the final 13 days of school.
