On November 15th, Cooperstown's Mohican Farm will discuss reducing the impact of harmful waste as well as our solid waste footprint in the upcoming Otsego County Conservation Association / Mohican Farm Be Informed! Lecture Series. 

Speakers such as Karey Foster of Casella Resource Solutions, Bob Sutherland, Mohican Farm manager, and Karen Sullivan, Director of Otsego County's Department of Solid Waste and Recycling will involve various ways to reduce solid waste through reuse and composting. They will also review what materials can be recycled verses those that can't be in this, "The What, Why and How of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle."

This event will occur on November 15th at 6:30 PM in the workshop at Mohican Farm. Mohican Farm can be found on 7207 State Highway 80, Cooperstown.

Preregistration is preferred even though this event is free to everyone.
