Today, October 29th marks National Cat Day.  It is a celebration that takes place every year in the United States. National Cat day is intended to raise awareness about the number of cats that don’t have homes and are left in shelters for the entire lives. This day is meant to give inspiration for people to adopt, who are capable of doing so. The day is also meant for cat owners and cat lovers to celebrate the lives of their feline friends and the happiness that they bring! National Cat Day was founded by Pet Lifestyle Expert and Animal Welfare Advocate, Colleen Paige, in 2005. Since then, over one million feline lives have been saved. Don’t forget to show your cat some love on their special day, or maybe even bring in a new ball of furry happiness into your life.
