The Super Ball Conundrum and More

The Super Ball.  Everyone had one as a kid and every mother grimaced when kids started bouncing it around the house.  I remember my own mother saying "Put that thing away! No balls in the house!"  Well, here's the problem with bouncing a Super Ball around outside: you're almost sure to lose it because of it's random, wild bouncing.

So mom won't let you play with it inside the house and if you bounce it outside, it's a goner.  What a conundrum!  Super Balls are really one of those brilliant ideas that sound great on paper.

And here's something cool and random about the Super Ball.  It was the inspiration for the "Super Bowl" name thanks to American Football League Founder and Kansas City Chiefs owner, Lamar Hunt.  He came up with the name after seeing his daughter playing with a Super Ball.  So there's more to the Super Ball than meets the eye.
