The First Annual Snommegang Invitational Beer Festival
Brewery Ommegang and Duvel Moortgat are proud to present the First Annual Snommegang Invitational Beer Festival! Come join us on Main Street in Oneonta for some great beer and great music from around the country, as well as some of the tastiest food in the country provided by the fantastic restaurants on Main Street.
The event will be on Saturday March 1st, starting at 2 pm. Main Street will be closed from Ford Avenue to Dietz Street, with the event taking place under a series of heated tents . A large heated tent will be placed in Muller Plaza, featuring music and entertainment, and will be open to the public. However to gain admission to the beer-tasting tents you will need to present your ticket and a valid government issued ID verifying your age as over 21.
The tasting session will conclude at 6 pm and be followed by additional beer dinners and tap takeovers at Oneonta bars. More details on these additional events to come.
Also don't forget to stop for some great food and to warm up in any of the great restaurants on Main Street. There will also be food vendors in Muller Plaza.
Tickets for this event are available through etix.com The cost is $50 for general admission and $40 for students (w/ valid student ID). Overnight packages are available through The Inn at Cooperstown, The Rainbow Inn (Emmons) and The Clarion Hotel on Main Street, Oneonta.
Additional physical tickets are available locally from the Green Toad Bookstore in Oneonta and Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce. Please contact the locationl of your choice for additional information on these packages and tickets.
Music and entertainment will be open and available to the public, but make sure you get your ticket right away so you don't miss out on the best craft beer from around the country.
