Norwich Passes School Budget

The Norwich City School District passed a nearly $38.7 million budget by a vote of 309-144. Voters also voted to purchase additional passenger buses for $1.26 million, and one 30-passenger wheel chair bus for $105,000.

Voters in school districts across the state head to the polls today to vote on school budgets, fill board of education seats and approve purchase for the coming school year.
