SUNY Oneonta to Induct Seven into Athletics Hall of Fame

The college's first hired athletic trainer and Franklin resident, David Bailey, headlines the 15th Hall of Fame class for SUNY Oneonta.

Bailey, along with six former student athletes will be enshrined into the athletics Hall of Fame at 10 a.m. Saturday at a ceremony in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House. Bailey is this year's Honorary Inductee.

This year's class will bring the Hall of Fame numbers to 110 former student athletes, coaches and administrators and seven Honorary Inductees. Joining Bailey, are basketball players Tom Nuttall '65 and Ralph Christian '77, tennis players Alan E. Chaskin '70 and Susan Ritter Monfort '91, baseball player Richard Yandoli '77 and multisport athlete, Rosemary "Ro" Sorensen Harvey '73.
