Slash joined Ozzy Osbourne onstage for his Ozzy & Friends tour at the Bergen Calling Festival in Bergen, Norway,  yesterday (May 29) for the first of 10 shows in which he will play with the group.

In lieu of Black Sabbath dates, which were postponed when guitarist Tony Iommi was diagnosed with lymphoma, Ozzy and his famous and talented pals are performing across Europe, to the delight of fans.

Slash, along with Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler, performed ‘Iron Man,’ ‘War Pigs’ and ‘N.I.B.,’ before returning to the stage later in the set to rip through ‘Paranoid.”

The ex-Guns’ N’ Roses guitarist looks at home wailing on his axe alongside the Prince of Darkness. They make quite a well-matched metal pair, don’t they? Post-show, Slash tweeted: “Jamming w/Ozzy & friends was a blast! Too short though! Bergen crowd looked like they were having a blast as well.”

When Ozzy was introducing ‘Bark at the Moon,’ he proclaimed, ‘The crazier you go, the longer we will play.” That’s a fair trade off, for sure.
