Britney the Intern here with a little debate. The debate of skim milk vs whole milk has been going on for years with people who want to get their dairy intake, but this has also been a big discussion, almost daily, in my family. Everyone wants to be healthy and watch what they put into their bodies. According to some sources, skim milk may actually not be as healthy as people think. There are also some downsides to whole milk as well. The good thing that we all know about skim milk is that it contains less fat. Fox news however states that the closer to zero-fat milk you go, "The more you eliminate fatty acid benefits." You also eliminate naturally occurring Vitamins A and D, which are then added synthetically. Powdered milk is even added. Dr. Oz says skim milk increases weight because "once you take out the fat from milk, all you have left is sugar."

Whole milk on the other hand has its pros and cons. Of course, there is more fat in Whole milk, but in my opinion if it is natural then it is ok in moderation. That's the thing I love about whole milk, you get all the natural vitamins and minerals according to butterbeliever.com, but you may have to watch the waistline if you have too much. Do your own research. What is your opinion? What do you drink, if you drink milk at all?
