Schneiderman Pegs GlaxoSmithKline with Healthcare Fraud

State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced yesterday the largest healthcare fraud in U.S. history.

GlaxoSmithKline will pay $3 billion to resolve charges that the pharmaceutical giant engaged in various illegal schemes related to the marketing and pricing of drugs it manufacturers including Paxil, Wellbutrin and Advair.

The company allegedly engaged in the illegal marketing of drugs for uses not approved by the FDA.
