Schreibman Claims His Plan Will Defend and Protect Medicare

On Tuesday, Democratic candidate for the 19th Congressional District Julian Schreibman was at the Plains at Parish Homestead in Oneonta.

He talked to some very interested people on the differences that he has with his opponent, republican incumbent Chris Gibson, on the subject of Medicare.

“I’m very interested in the differences between Paul Ryan budget that Congressman Gibson Supported and the guarantee of Medicare switching over to the voucher program as opposed to my position of defending Medicare and ensuring that it continues to be there as guaranteed health insurance coverage for generations to come,” Schreibman said.

The two candidates will meet in a debate next Wednesday in Morris Hall at SUNY Oneonta.
