Register Now For Oct. 4 Pit Run Events

The 22nd Annual Pit Run will be held on Sunday, October 4th in Oneonta beginning at 9:45am with the free Kids Fun Run in Neahwa Park and then the 2 mile stroll, the 5K run and the 10K run begin at 10:45am on Main Street, above the River Street viaduct.

This event is held in Memory of Ricky J. "Pit" Parisian, New York State Police Investigator killed in the Line of Duty.  Participation is a wonderful way to donate to the Ricky J. Parisian Scholarship Foundation, dedicated to improving education for local school children and helping fund children's programs in the Greater Oneonta area.

Leading up to the event is the Pit Pasta Dinner on Saturday, October 3rd, starting at 4pm at the Oneonta Boys & Girls Club.  Registered race participants can pick up their bib and enjoy a delicious pasta dinner.  Funds raised from the dinner also go toward the scholarship foundation.
