Plymouth Fire Chief Dies In House Fire

A fire chief in Chenango County died Monday in a fire at his home. Authorities say Plymouth Fire Chief Frank Fowlston was the only one inside his County Route 21 home when the fire started around 2 a.m. So far there’s been no word on what caused the fire but the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office and the Chenango County Bureau of Fire are investigating the incident.
