An arrest warrant was briefly issued for AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd after he failed to show up for his court hearing in New Zealand today. But he turned up a little later, averting even more legal trouble.

Rudd was due to appear in the High Court at Tauranga at 9AM this morning, according to Vintage Vinyl News. When he didn't show, Justice Timothy Brewer gave him 30 additional minutes to arrive before issuing the warrant.

Rudd appeared shortly after, and offered no plea to the three charges he faces: threatening to kill a man, methamphetamine and cannabis possession. He was remanded on bail, and his case was transferred to Tauranga District Court.

Rudd will appear back in court on Dec. 2, the same day AC/DC release their latest album, 'Rock or Bust.' While he plays on the album, the rest of the band is continuing to move on without him, or at least until this whole matter is cleared up.
