Otsego County To Replace Septic Systems

Those living in parts of Otsego County will be able to take advantage of septic system improvement grants from the New York State Septic System Replacement Program. According to Governor Cuomo's office, homeowners can apply for a grant of up to 50 percent of improvement costs up to a maximum of $10,000. Qualifying properties include homes and businesses with less than 100 employees which are within 250 feet of the Goodyear Lake shoreline. Homeowners are required to be a primary resident of the property.
