Otsego County to Hold Public Meeting on Hazard Mitigation Plan

Otsego County will hold a public meeting as part of an ongoing effort to develop the 2012-2013 Hazard Mitigation Plan update, with the consultants, H2O Partners facilitating the meeting and discussing the plan.

The hearing is scheduled from 8-11 p.m. July 17 at the Meadows Office Building in Cooperstown.

The purpose of the open meeting is to provide a project overview and solicit information from residents of the participating communities that can help the project team in identifying and analyzing hazards affecting the county as well as recommending possible actions that can be taken to reduce the impact of those hazards. The public is invited and encouraged to attend the meeting.
