Otsego County Questions On Recycling Answered

Recycling just got easier for Otsego County residents thanks to the Otsego County Conservation Association and Otsego County Solid Waste.  They have teamed up to provide an updated online recycling and disposal guidance document, “How Do I Get Rid Of …? The Best Way To Dispose of Things You No Longer Want or Need,” that residents can easily understand and find out which unwanted items can be recycled, reused or discarded.

Learn about everything from aerosol cans to aluminum foil, mattresses to metal scrap, and wood pellet bags to yard waste and more.  You will find tips and information that will help you discover how to safely and easily get rid of trash, recyclables, and hazardous waste.  Options for reuse and for keeping perfectly good materials out of the landfill are also included.
