Thursday evening, June 16th, a community-wide Interfaith Candlelight Vigil will be held in honor of those injured and killed at the mass shooting in Orlando, Florida and in support of our LGBTQ community at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Oneonta. Joining in co-hosting the vigil will be the First United Methodist, the Oneonta Branch of the NAACP and The City of Oneonta Commission on Community Relations and Human Rights.”
As a part of the service there will be candles to light in honor of those who have died, a time to share our own feelings and stories, and an opportunity to join our voices in song. All are welcome to attend. Evelyn Warren of the UUSO office administrator gave us the update.

Members and friends are welcome to meet at Chapin Sanctuary at 6:30 PM, and walk down to Muller Plaza, as a group, for the community-wide vigil at 7PM.
