It could be the most beautiful evening in Oneonta!  Head to Main Street, Oneonta on Thursday, December 4th, 5:30pm-8:30pm, for what promises to be an evening filled with music and smiles.  It is the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Lets celebrate the season, with alpacas, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, horse-drawn carriage rides, dancers in the windows of your favorite stores, and music!

Music will be everywhere.  New this year, there will be live music on every corner.  An acapella group at City Hall, live performers at Muller Plaza and the corner of Chestnut and Main.  Don't miss the sounds of the season as Jeff Wood, Judy Pitel, Thomas Pondolfino, Ethan Harris, Michael J Gray, Shelly R Ashley, Leah Echstein, Drue Janet Quackenbush, Marty Kuhn and Terri Whitney perform all of your favorites.  Wendy and Jeff of Northernstar Productions provide sound for the tree lighting.

Don't forget to stop at the Oneonta YMCA booth.  They will be giving out glow necklaces to kids to light up the evening.  You may also spot Elsa from the popular movie "Frozen" walking around and visiting with children.

Support your community, grab dinner on Main Street and take in the sites, the music, and the feeling of the holidays.  Experience the most beautiful night Oneonta offers, brought to you by Destination Oneonta (MSO).
