What would you like to see in the next 10 to 20 years for Oneonta?  Here's your chance to be a part of the planning process.  The City of Oneonta is in the process of updating the 2007 Comprehensive Plan which you can come out to see and discuss with officials on Wednesday, November 14th from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Oneonta High School cafeteria.

The purpose of a Comprehensive Plan is to set a vision for the community for the next 10 to 20 years.  At the open house officials will unveil the draft vision, goals and recommendations for the Oneonta Comprehensive Plan Update.  Because City of Oneonta officials are looking for community involvement with opinions and ideas, those attending will be encouraged to provide feedback by using stickers, markers, and Post-it Notes to give feedback on what they see.  You can also ask questions and speak to Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee representatives at the event.  If you can not make it to the open house, you can also provide feedback through the project's website:  www.opportunityoneonta.com.
