Housing Visions, a non-profit housing developer's proposed 48 unit Silver Creek senior and family housing project got unanimous site plan approval last night from the City of Oneonta Planning Board. Development Project Manager Steve Underhill says this project is aimed at senior citizens, with only eight family units. Underhill said that the project will break ground in December, with the construction starting in spring.

The proposal is to construct a 40-unit senior building and two buildings each with four row-style single-family townhouses on vacant lots on West and Columbia streets in Oneonta.
