Oneonta Represented at Democratic National Convention

The Oneonta area is represented both inside and outside the Democratic National Convention hall in Philadelphia this week. Megan-Ellyia Green, a 2001 Oneonta High School graduate, is a St. Louis alderwoman and Bernie Sanders delegate. However, she told activists that Sanders himself said– in order to to defeat Donald Trump, we have to elect Hillary. On Tuesday, Democrats made history as former New York Senator and Secretary of State Clinton was the first woman nominated by a major political party in US history.
