With Downtown Oneonta on the verge of the most extensive urban planning project since the 1960s and 1970s, The Greater Oneonta Historical Society is presenting a exhibit that takes a look at that era of downtown redevelopment and the changes in Oneonta’s downtown that resulted from the national drive toward “modernization” as it was back then. The exhibit entitled “Envisioning Downtown Oneonta Then & Now” opens Friday February 2nd at the Oneonta History Center at 183 Main Street with an opening reception Sunday February 4th, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
