The New York State Office of Mental Health is holding a Central New York Regional Communication Meeting in Oneonta at Huntington Memorial Library on August 9 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and you are invited.  Organizers to hoping to "obtain input on how to foster activities that promote recovery, growth and autonomy in environments that are respectful of the rights and dignity of the individual and the overall community."

The meeting will be held in a "Town Hall" manner and encourages community members to share thoughts and concerns regarding assisting those with mental health issues. This open forum will be moderated by Garrett Smith, Regional Advocacy Specialist from CNYFO-NYSOMH.
