New York state will comply with a request from President Donald Trump’s commission investigating voter fraud for resident voting information. Initially Governor Andrew Cuomo said New York would not comply but on Wednesday the state Board of Elections determined there was no lawful reason to deny the request.

Among the information being supplied is voter names, birth dates, addresses and voting history but not social security numbers which would violate state privacy laws. Thirteen states and Washington, D.C., still say they won’t comply with the information request.
