The National Football League’s longstanding nationwide “Punt, Pass and Kick” competition comes to Oneonta’s Neawha Park on Friday.

Kids aged 6-15 years are invited to participate free of charge with sky-high potential rewards with good scores. “In the past we’ve had some really scores, and last year we sent a few sectional winners to the Buffalo Bills team championship.”

The competition starts at 5 p.m. rain or shine at Field 4 — Ted Chrisman Field — in Oneonta’s Neawha Park.

A valid birth certificate must be presented at the time of registration. Registration forms must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. Forms are available at the recreation office and online.

Competitors are asked to please wear sports attire for this event.
