Everybody is excited about the mural project at the Greater Oneonta History Center. Along Deitz Street, they are planning to install giant colorful murals which depict the bygone eras of the five business that occupied the corner of Dietz and Main Street building over more than a century.

Well, the murals are not up yet but the bronze plaques are. All lined up on the brick wall exterior of the History Center on Dietz Street. Each one tells the story of the succeeding business that were located here.

We are very much anticipating the new murals, but in the meantime...how many of these businesses do you remember?
