Abe Vigoda, who slouched his way into our hearts in movies like "The Godfather" and TV shows like "Barney Miller" and "Fish" has died at the age of 94.

After years of working on Broadway and Off-Broadway, Vigoda was tapped to play mobster Sal Tessio in the classic "The Godfather."  He was 52 years old when he was cast in the film. His new found fame got him cast in the hit sitcom "Barney Miller" as Sgt. Phil Fish.  He later carried this role into his own series, "Fish."

Over the years, hoax announcements of Vigoda's death have been many.  Sadly, this report is true.
