Sage Levene

In October 2015 along with 200+ other animals, Mouse was rescued from an unlicensed butcher in Orange County, NY. Mouse was mistreated, not being fed or given water, and was incredibly dirty. He was suffering from a broken leg that had healed crookedly to the point where it was unusable. Mouse was brought to the Nemo Farm Animal Hospital at Cornell university for treatment. He can get around on three legs now, but will need all four legs to support his adult weight. The team at Cornell is working on tests to give him a functioning leg! Once his injured leg is healed Mouse will go to a farm sanctuary in Watkins Glen, NY to be with other rescued animals. It’s great to see that there are so many people dedicated to helping animals live full and happy lives. Check out Mouse's story below!
