This may come as a surprise considering that lately our area has been getting what seems like plenty of rain, but despite that, the Village of Milford, NY is now under a mandatory water conservation order. Mayor Brian Pokorny said it is due to a lowering of the village’s water table that’s a result of a lack of rain. The order is in effect until further notice. Residents are asked to use a minimum amount of water for cooking, drinking and bathing. You can keep up to date on this order getting visiting The Village of Milford, NY facebook page.
