Jordan Todman ran for a spectacular 62-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, and the Jaguars beat the Tennessee Titans, 21-13, in Jacksonville on Thursday night. The game was a match-up of teams who were tied with Tampa Bay and Oakland for the worst record in the NFL heading into Thursday.

Tennessee had a chance to tie the game with a touchdown and two-point conversion on its final drive into Jacksonville territory, but Jaguars’ defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks sacked Titans’ quarterback Charlie Whitehurst on the final play of the game to preserve the victory. Whitehurst finished 24 for 35 for 287 yards with a touchdown for Tennessee (2-13).

Hoping to avoid a ninth straight loss, the Titans jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the second quarter. Jacksonville narrowed the deficit to 10-7 when Blake Bortles threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Marcedes Lewis on the last drive of the first half.

The Jaguars maintained the momentum after halftime, marching 80 yards on the first drive of the second half and taking the lead on Toby Gerhart’s 1-yard TD run. Todman’s big scoring play at 9:13 of the fourth quarter pushed the lead to 21-10 - just enough to get the win for Jacksonville (3-12).
