Chances are pretty good that you've heard the phrase "panic room" and think of that 2002 Jodie Foster movie with the same name.  Panic rooms are becoming a "thing" for people to do for entertainment purposes.

The idea of a panic room is a secured room which you are trapped in until you can solve a series of puzzles, riddles, etc. in order to escape the room.  It's meant to be fun, intense at times and of course very rewarding if you can manage to get out.

With this fun concept in mind, Huntington Memorial Library in Oneonta is offering a free panic room experience for different ages coming up.  On June 23 For Harry Potter fans, they have a Harry Potter panic room from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for up to six people who are at least 13 years old.  To participate in this free event, you must register on eventbrite.com in advance.
